Kuwait has announced that an estimated 40 million used tires that were a part of the world's largest tire graveyard will return to the country's streets in a new way.
The tires, which were moved from Erhiya to the Al-Salmi tire recycling plants to be transformed into environmentally-friendly products, will be used in asphalt mixture to pave the roads of Kuwait.
The factory, which was established to make the country more green, has the production capacity to extract materials from 3 million tires annually and convert them into various products.
