MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad held a phone call with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, following the Shaheen tropical cyclone and the damages it caused.
The King affirmed Bahrain’s support to Oman to overcome the situation. He offered condolences to Sultan Haitham, the families of the victims and the people of Oman, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the deceased in eternal peace, to return the missing ones safely and to protect Oman from harm.
The Omani leader expressed his appreciation to the King for his noble feelings towards the sultanate and its people, which embody the deep bilateral ties, wishing him abundant health and wellness and the kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.
