Police have arrested a 32-year-old woman in connection with a series of robberies on shoppers in Manama.
The Capital Governorate Police Directorate said they were acting on a number of reports of theft allegedly carried out by the suspect on victims who said they had been taken advantage of and had money stolen.
Detectives have seized an unspecified amount of cash after searching the home of the woman described as being of Arab nationality.
Legal measures have been taken and the case referred to the Public Prosecution.
