A proposal to halve minimum credit card repayments and unify billing dates across banks is being put forward to help consumers better manage their monthly finances.
MPs will discuss the proposal during Tuesday’s weekly session, with Parliament’s financial and economic affairs committee recommending approval of measures that would reduce the minimum payment from five per cent to 2 .
