GLASGOW: Bahrain’s delegation concluded its participation in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), which ended yesterday, in Glasgow, Britain.
The delegation, which included officials representing ministries and companies, took part in COP26 in-person session and highlighted Bahrain’s efforts to protect the environment and mitigate the repercussions resulting from climate change, including renewable energy, water management and afforestation projects.
The delegation also held meetings with officials and other participants to further strengthen co-operation with countries and organisations taking part in the international event.
It also attended the meetings which were held on the sidelines of COP26 by the Arab Group, the Group of 77 and China and took part in other sideline events on the reduction of emissions and hydrogen.
