The Royal Humanitarian Foundation has provided 131 insulin pumps to diabetic children (type 1), aged one day to 14 years.
The foundation has launched the Al Fares project, supported by Salmaniya Medical Complex, BDF Hospital and King Hamad University Hospital.
RHF secretary general Dr Mustafa Al Sayed shed light on the project as he received Arabian Gulf University students who took part in the ‘Let’s Defeat Diabetes’ awareness campaign.
