AL Jazira Group officially opened its 15th supermarket in Seef Mall yesterday.
Having served shoppers in the kingdom for 56 years, Al Jazira’s latest launch is sure to be a valuable addition to Seef District, providing customers with a unique retail experience offering more than 55,000 international products.
“We feel that this is one of the best supermarkets we have developed recently,” said Al Jazira Group chairman Abdul Hussein Khalil Dawani.
“We feel that this location is very convenient for our customers and if there is anything else that they need, we will be very happy to receive their comments,” he added.
Offerings at the new store include all sections of supermarkets – bakeries, meat, fresh fish, dairy and frozen products, health and beauty products as well as kitchen utensils, in addition to the opening of a special bakery and hot food counter inside the supermarket that offers a variety of baked goods, sweets and cakes as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Al Jazira Group general manager Ujjal Mukherjee is very proud of the new location, saying it is one of the biggest, next to the supermarket’s location in Zinj.
“We are pleased to make our debut in Seef District through one of the most well-known malls in the Kingdom of Bahrain– Seef Mall, Seef District – which has been the main destination for major local, regional and international brands for 25 years.
“Our selection of Seef Mall came due to its strategic location, as well as the location of the supermarket in the west wing, with the availability of ample parking spaces for shoppers’ vehicles and easy access to the mall, especially since Al Jazira Supermarkets promise its valued customers and Seef Mall visitors with an unmatched retail and hospitality experience,” Mr Mukherjee added.
“This is our 15th outlet in Bahrain and Seef Mall is the first mall that Al Jazira has opened its own outlet in.
“This store caters to all categories of people,” he said.
Occupying a total space of 1,963sqm, the new supermarket is located in Seef Mall’s west wing, on the ground level.
Established in 1965, Al Jazira Supermarket has 14 other branches operating under its umbrella located in Zinj, Adliya, Juffair, Budaiya, Bu Quwah, Hamala, Jasra, Janabiya, Riffa, Manama, Golden Sands Apartments, Karannah, Sehla and Hoora.
