Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread or yarn, a method that has been practised for decades.
Using different techniques or stitches, embroidery allows you to create beautiful embellishments on clothes, adding a unique touch to the fabric used.
The event will be held from July 18 to 20 from 5pm to 7pm each day.
The workshop is priced at BD30 and is open to those aged 14 and above.
The process of embossing copper is the technique of creating designs through stamping, piercing, folding or hammering.
The metal has aesthetic value and is considered a heritage in handicrafts and archaeological collectibles.
The Art of Copper Shaping Workshop will cover such topics as the different types of copper and their properties, the different methods of forming and working on copper, the materials and tools used in copper embossing and the use of copper in artwork and products.
The event will be held on July 19 and 20 from 4pm to 7pm and is open to the same age group.
It costs BD28.
