Its first namesake instalment, released in 2024, debuted at number one on the UK Official Top 50, and number two on The New York Times Best Seller list.
Author Richard is best known for his Thursday Murder Club series, which currently consists of five novels.
In an interview, he explained the different approach he has to the new series in comparison to his previous works.
‘What changes is the panorama they’re set against,” he said.
“The Thursday Murder Club is very much a closed community—the village, the restaurant, the shuttle bus. And then We Solve Murders is private jets, celebrities, martinis in hotel bars and all that stuff. So it’s a different setting, but I’m still writing the same sort of book. I’m still writing about people,” he added.
