Manama: His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received at Al Sakhir Palace, the credentials of four new ambassadors accredited to the kingdom.
They are Chinese Qi Zhenhong, Philippine Alfonso Ferdinand A Ver, Indian Alok Kumar Sinha and Swedish Jan Thesleff.
His Majesty welcomed them, hailing good bilateral relations between Bahrain and their countries.
He lauded growing ties in all fields and wished them success in their diplomatic duties and bolstering co-operation and friendship with the kingdom.
The ambassadors conveyed greetings from the heads of their states, who wished the King health and happiness and further progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.
They also hailed strong bilateral relations bonding their countries and Bahrain.
His Majesty’s Personal Representative, the Royal Court Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Royal Court Follow-up Minister and the royal protocol head were present.
