GULF WEEKLY-
A popular Netflix show, following a group of ragtag superheroes all born on October 1, has revealed that the final season will premier sometime between January and March 2024.
A video of Umbrella Academy’s dysfunctional group of adopted siblings was shared on the show’s official X account to celebrate the characters’ birthdays and reveal their return for their last shebang.
The post said: “On October 1, 1989, our extraordinary super-powered babies were born. In 2024, they return”.
The video also reveals the 2024 release date after featuring footage of the cast celebrating their characters’ birthdays by throwing confetti and hitting piñatas as well as other festive activities.
The series, which boasts superheroes fighting to save the world, the future and at times themselves, is based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s comic books. It has run for three seasons so far, between 2019 and 2022, and has been renewed for a fourth and final season.
It stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore.
