FOOTBALL – TWELVE Bangladeshi football clubs are taking part in the Probashi Bangla Challenge Cup 2026, which has gotten underway in the kingdom.
The competition, organised and run by Greater Barishal Welfare Association Bahrain, held an opening ceremony attended by prominent Bangladeshi community leaders, organisers, and football fans.
The event was graced by Bahrain Cricket Federation president Sami Mohammad Ali, who attended as the chief guest, highlighting the strong cross-sport solidarity and community support within the kingdom.
The tournament is scheduled to run until December, with matches being held every weekend.
