The Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) delegation held preparatory meetings in Malaysia and are ready for this weekend’s F1 race.
Formula One President Roy Marquez expressed his satisfaction with the extensive preparations made by the BMF delegation in preparation for organising the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which will be held at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from October 2 to 4, in co-ordination with the Bahrain International Circuit.
Mr Marquez said in a statement that as soon as he learned that the entire BMF was in Malaysia, he requested to meet them personally to offer support and praise for all the efforts they are making to ensure the success of the upcoming Formula One race, which will be an exciting, thrilling and challenging race, noting that it is a new and unique experience for this distinguished race and the first time it has happened in the history of Formula One world races.
BMF teams held a co-ordination meeting during which they reviewed the preparations at the Sepang International Circuit through their visit to it since this morning and followed up on the field preparations in the presence of all Bahraini organisers, who were distributed to all points and received their various work tasks.
The team leaders reviewed the latest needs before the expected date.
Meanwhile, the BMF delegation is accompanied by the world’s youngest motorsport organisers, Rakan Janahi, 14, and Yousef Ahmed, 15, who expressed their happiness and pride at being part of the delegation.
