Bahrain was early this week affected by active northwesterly winds at times, which contributed to a decrease in surface humidity levels, with moderate weather conditions, especially at night.
Northwesterly winds are expected to continue during the coming days, reaching strong speeds at times, starting today and continuing until Saturday, the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s meteorological directorate said yesterday.
Winds will contribute to a slight drop in temperatures compared to previous days, and will lead to higher sea waves and rising dust in open areas.
