His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a written letter from Jordanian King Abdullah, extending an official invitation to visit Jordan.
The King accepted the invitation and expressed appreciation to King Abdullah for the invitation. Jordanian Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Rami Saleh Wreikat Al Adwan delivered the letter to His Majesty at Safriya Palace.
During the meeting, His Majesty praised solid ties between the two kingdoms and the advanced level of co-operation at various levels.
He expressed his appreciation and pride in the efforts of King Abdullah in consolidating Bahraini-Jordanian relations.
His Majesty also commended Jordan’s historical role in safeguarding the interests of the Arab nation, preserving its gains, supporting joint Arab action, and pushing towards achieving peace and stability in the region.
