His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, has praised the Bahrain Defence Force’s (BDF) advanced levels of combat readiness and efficiency.
He attributed them to the support provided by His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, as he hosted an Iftar banquet for several senior BDF officers last night.
HRH Prince Salman was accompanied by Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Tamkeen board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He was welcomed by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant General Abdulla Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and other senior officers.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that the sacrifices and valour shown by BDF personnel will always be remembered.
He also recognised the BDF’s role alongside allies in preserving regional security and stability.
HRH Prince Salman exchanged Ramadan greetings with the BDF Commander-in-Chief and senior officers and wished the kingdom, the Arab world, and Islamic nations further security and prosperity.
