Gulf Hotels Group (GHG) yesterday announced the promotion of Amid Yazji to cluster general manager, overseeing four properties: Gulf Hotel Bahrain, Novotel Al Dana Resort, Gulf Executive Residences Juffair, and Bahrain Airport Hotel.
Mr Yazji, a hospitality industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, has spent the last decade leading operations at Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort. He is credited with boosting the hotel’s profitability through revenue optimisation strategies, operational streamlining, and a focus on guest service excellence.
Prior to his Bahrain role, Mr Yazji led hospitality teams across the GCC, Levant, and Russia. He also held pre- and post-opening positions with major hotel groups like Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, Four Seasons, and Hilton.
In his new role, Mr Yazji will be responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of all four hotels, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. He will leverage his focus on innovation and guest-centricity to further solidify the group’s position as a leader in upscale hospitality experiences.

Mr Yazji holds a certification in International Hospitality Management from Accor Academy and ESSEC, and an MBA from Swiss Business School.
