Representatives from the Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation recently visited the Friendship Society for the Blind in Riffa to distribute schoolbags and stationery kits as part of its newly launched nationwide ‘Back to School 2026’ campaign, aimed at extending vital assistance to school-going children and easing the financial burden on vulnerable families across Bahrain.
The distribution event was attended by foundation board members Lubna Fakhro and Jawaher Almoayyed, alongside the foundation manager Ashish Shetty.
Representatives from the Friendship Society expressed their sincere appreciation and deep gratitude to the foundation for its generous support.
They highlighted the immense value of this timely initiative, noting that it directly aids families experiencing significant financial difficulties during the tough back-to-school preparation period.
During this interactive distribution event, schoolbags and comprehensive stationery kits were presented directly to individual children supported by the society to ensure they are fully prepared for the upcoming academic school year.
The children welcomed the visiting delegation with immense enthusiasm, eagerly opening their brand-new schoolbags and exploring the contents.
The charitable campaign is being actively implemented across Bahrain through strategic partnerships with selected charitable societies that care for disadvantaged children and families.
This ‘meaningful drive’ aims to clearly reflect the foundation’s continuous commitment to education, community development and family welfare.
By collaborating with local charitable organisations, the foundation seeks to proactively address pressing community needs and contribute towards creating a highly-positive social impact.
