His Majesty King Hamad yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to the Amir of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani on the anniversary of his accession.
The King hailed strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Qatar, stressing the importance of strengthening these ties in light of strategic partnership binding the two countries.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also extended similar cables of congratulations to the Amir of Qatar, Deputy Amir Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
The King sent a cable of congratulations to President Dr Nataša Pirc Musar of Slovenia on her country’s National Day.
His Majesty also extended similar cables to Mozambican and Croatian Presidents Filipe Jacinto Nyusi and Zoran Milanović on their countries’ Independence Day.
