His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasised SCYS’ commitment to prioritising youth empowerment, enhancing their skills, and developing their capabilities to meet the requirements of the labour market, in line with the vision of His Majesty to foster youth participation and development.
Shaikh Nasser also commended the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for Bahraini youth.
This came in a statement by Shaikh Nasser on the occasion of the upcoming 13th edition of Youth City 2030, organised by the Youth Affairs Ministry in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), to be held on Sunday at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Shaikh Nasser reiterated the importance of providing the youth with the necessary development tools. He said that Youth City 2030, supported by SCYS, is considered one of the key initiatives that prepare young people for the future, and provide a unique experience and training for young people.
He underscored the accomplishments of Youth City 2030 and highlighted the success stories of Bahraini youth across various fields as part of the initiative’s outcomes.
Shaikh Nasser called on Bahraini youth to participate in Youth City 2030 and its programmes, which have been designed to develop skills and competencies.
