Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa has emphasised the Security Committee’s commitment to ensuring measures for adequate security for the upcoming events in the governorate through co-ordinated efforts among security departments. Shaikh Khalifa made the pledge as he chaired a meeting of the committee, attended by deputy governor Brigadier Hamad Al Khayyat, Southern Police Station chief Colonel Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Interior Ministry officials .
