The Education Ministry yesterday announced a full remote learning day for all public school students on November 26, to test and evaluate recent improvements to its e-learning system.
This follows directives from the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The ministry has recently upgraded its remote learning system, integrating advanced technical features in partnership with Microsoft to improve quality and efficiency, especially in virtual classrooms.
Public schools will provide class schedules and access instructions for the day.
He noted that the primary goal is to collect feedback from students, teachers and parents on the system’s effectiveness, including early warning alerts, attendance tracking, dismissal monitoring, and assessment processes, to enhance the overall learning experience.
