A 32-year-old mother of two from Kerala has died after collapsing at her home in the Al Qasimia area of Sharjah on Monday morning.
Dr Afeena Raheem, a dentist who had taken a career break to care for her young children, was found collapsed on her kitchen floor by her sister, who had been woken by the cries of the victim's younger child.
The sister immediately performed CPR and Dr Raheem was taken to hospital, but she could not be revived.
Her family stated that Dr Raheem was in good health with no known underlying medical conditions, and the exact cause of death remains unknown.
The family plans to repatriate her body to Kerala once official documentation and the death certificate are issued.
