An event highlighting Bahrain’s cultural diversity was held at the Bahrain National Stadium, Isa Town.
Organised by This is Bahrain, a non-governmental organisation, it featured stands from embassies, ministries, schools, clubs, associations, societies and religious organisations.
The event was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad to mark Bahrain’s 53rd National Day.
“Every year we bring together Bahrainis and expats as one family,” said This is Bahrain chairperson Betsy Mathieson.
“There were about 60 exhibitors featured which included representatives and members from churches, temples and NGOs.”
Social Development Minister Osama Al Alawi attended the event and visited different stands, as he interacted with expat community members.
