Gold worth BD61,600 (Rs 1.41 crores) was seized by Delhi customs from two Indian passengers who arrived on a Gulf Air flight that originated from Bahrain.
Teams from the Air Intelligence Unit at the Customs conducted the operation on Sunday (Jan 12) at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
Officials announced yesterday that 1.94 kg of gold was found concealed in the metal linings of the trolley bag.
