A man has been arrested following investigations into the fatal stabbing on Thursday of a 57-year-old Bahraini in the parking area of a residential building in Shakhoora.
The victim has been identified as Ali Mahdi Albasri from Jannusan.
He was found to have suffered multiple stab wounds following an examination by a forensic doctor, the authorities revealed.
The accused, whose age and nationality have not been disclosed, was arrested by the Northern Governorate Police Directorate.
Police interviews revealed that there had been ‘disputes’ between the two men.
The Public Prosecution stated that the alleged killer is under pre-trial detention, while legal processes continue.
