The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) is showcasing at the Social Housing Innovation Conference and Exhibition a range of digital solutions it offers in co-operation with various government and private entities.
These solutions contribute to supporting the housing sector, facilitating real estate services for citizens, and providing an integrated and comfortable housing experience.
These solutions are based on the use of latest digital technologies to facilitate citizens’ journey towards ownership and housing, and enhance efforts to accelerate digital transformation and achieve the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
Among the most prominent projects that the iGA will showcase on its platform is the advanced eKey 2.0 application project, one of its most prominent recently launched technical projects.
This enables users to securely and unifiedly access government services through biometric authentication using facial recognition, without the need to enter passwords. This is a fundamental pillar for enhancing the efficiency of digital services in the housing sector, especially with the linking of the ‘Bayti’ platform to the eKey, which allows users to benefit from housing financing and ownership services provided in co-operation with the Eskan Bank.
This reflects the authority’s commitment to enhancing the security of digital transactions, while ensuring the protection of personal data privacy and simplifying “Know Your Customer” (KYC) procedures. This expedites verification processes and helps accelerate the use of housing services, saving time and effort, and ensuring easy and smooth access to services.
In addition, the iGA is showcasing the MyGov app, which provides citizens with access to a wide range of government services, including the ability to view government documents, along with a range of services provided through the app, including 41 government services from nine entities, as well as services provided through the national portal bahrain.bh.
