His Majesty King Hamad received Russian artist Marina Romakhina and her husband, Andrey Svintsov, member of the Russian State Duma, who are on a visit to the kingdom.
During the reception, Ms Romakhina presented His Majesty with a painting commemorating the 25th anniversary of the King’s accession, as a gesture of appreciation.
His Majesty thanked the artist for the distinguished artwork, praising her artistic skill, excellence, and the high quality of her creations.
His Majesty also highlighted the strong bilateral relations and close ties between Bahrain and the Russian Federation, noting the continued development of co-operation, particularly in the fields of culture, arts, and the organisation of art exhibitions. His Majesty wished the artist continued success in her artistic pursuits.
