His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has expressed pride in BDF personnel for fulfilling their national duties with courage and determination.
He also praised their valour and dedication during a visit to the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command yesterday.
The King was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
His Majesty was accompanied by National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Also present to receive His Majesty were Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant General Abdulla Al Nuaimi and BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.
The King was briefed on future plans to develop all BDF weapons and units. He also congratulated the winners of the His Majesty the King’s Shooting Championship for the Armed Forces.
