A health and first aid awareness programme was held for youth from the Master Mind Centre for Consulting and Skills Development, and members of the Bahrain Society for Women’s Development.
The event, hosted by the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS), featured an interactive workshop in basic first aid, enabling participants to receive hands‑on training in managing common medical emergencies and boosting their readiness to offer immediate assistance when required.
Attendees also benefited from a health awareness lecture, which emphasised the importance of preventive care and healthy habits, highlighting daily practices that support both individual and societal well‑being.
BRCS first aid committee head Fatima Ahmed praised the initiative for providing essential support in raising a knowledgeable generation that is prepared to face health-related challenges, emphasising that the society was committed to equipping the community with vital knowledge and competencies.
She added that the BRCS will continue to expand its educational outreach in first aid and public health by extending its training programmes to reach a broader audience.
