Y K Almoayyed & Sons (YKA) EDMAJ programme powered by Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation partnered with CleanUp Bahrain to mark the World Cleanup Day 2025 with Malkiya Beach Drive.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 80 dedicated volunteers from YKA who came together to contribute their time and effort towards a greener and cleaner Bahrain.
During the drive, volunteers collected and removed a significant amount of waste, including plastic, wood and metal debris.
Expressing her appreciation, Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation board member Mariam AlUmran said: “This initiative reflects our foundation’s long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. The inspiring participation of our volunteers demonstrates the power of collective action in addressing environmental challenges and protecting Bahrain’s natural heritage for future generations.”
Sharing his thoughts on the collaboration, CleanUp Bahrain event organiser Ali Qaseer added: “We are delighted to join hands with the Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation for this impactful cleanup drive. Such partnerships are essential in building awareness and driving positive change, and today’s achievement at Malkiya Beach is a testament to what we can accomplish together for the environment.”
