TENNIS – A women’s team from the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) played a friendly tournament with women’s players from Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
The tournament was held at the Saudi Tennis Federation Training Centre in Dammam, and it was part of the joint-cooperation between the BTF and the Saudi tennis centre.
Matches were held in various categories, including seniors, under-18, under-16, and under-14, along with an evening training programme.
The event reflects the BTF women’s committee’s interest in developing the tennis skills of women and young girls from Bahrain, and providing them the opportunity to participate in matches and gain experience and exposure in a competitive setting.
At the end of the friendly competition, BTF women’s committee chair Jameela Al Nashaba and BTF board and women’s committee member Nayla Al Mir exchanged commemorative gifts with officials from the centre.
