THE Bahrain Chapter of CMS College Kottayam’s Vidya Souhrudam (alumni association), organised a get-together at the Bahrain Malayalee CSI Church prayer hall in Segaiya.
Around 30 members from different batches gathered to reconnect, reminisce about their college days and discuss ways to strengthen the chapter’s activities in the kingdom.
The event was presided over by parish vicar Rev Mathews David while CMS College associate professor of English and alumni affairs co-ordinator Jacob Eapen Kunnath was the chief guest.
A new committee to lead the Bahrain chapter was established comprising president Sudin Abraham, vice-president Benoy KJ, secretary Mohan George, joint secretary Beena Sunil, treasurer Sanju Jacob and committee members Jacob K Jacob, Sajan Kuruvilla, Madhu Philip, Sindhu Annie, Bibin Samuel, Anush Chandy and Sreeja Bobby. Ex-officio members include the college principal as chairperson, the parish vicar as adviser and the college alumni affairs co-ordinator as a special invitee.
