THE Bahraini Women in the Judicial and Legal Field forum will kick off today under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president.
The event will be held in conjunction with the kingdom’s celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day, marked annually on December 1 and observed this year under the theme “Bahraini Women - Excellence, Creativity and Innovation”.
It is organised by the Public Prosecution, with the participation of SCW, and in cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council, the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry, Bahrain University, and the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies. Several senior officials and distinguished specialists from across the kingdom will also take part.
The forum reflects Bahrain’s steadfast efforts to advance women’s legal empowerment. It also embodies the royal confidence in women’s role as partners in decision-making and in building a modern justice system that upholds the rule of law, and strengthens the judicial and legal system.
