FOOTBALL – Bahrain youth girls’ football national team administrative staff Zainab Sager and Hesa Alhafedh were nominated by the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) to participate in a workshop for women’s national team managers, organised by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) on the sidelines of the West Asia Football Federation (WAFF) U17 Women’s Championship 2026 in Amman, Jordan.
The course included 25 participants representing member associations.
It was conducted by Jordanian lecturer Sawsan Al Hassaseen, who covered several topics related to the duties of a team manager, including an explanation of the organisational structure, the required qualities for the position, and the responsibilities and duties assigned to a manager.
The workshop also reviewed the internal regulations and bylaws of national teams, as well as the duties of the team manager during official tournaments held at Asian and regional levels, including WAFF tournaments.
The participation of BFA staff comes within the framework of development plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency of women’s administrative professionals in the association, and keeping up with best practices in managing national teams in women’s football.
