Businesses impacted by recent events have just two weeks left to apply for the ‘Musanada’ programme before the August 11 deadline, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has announced.
Tamkeen deputy chief executive of programme design and delivery Khalid Al Bayat urged eligible enterprises to take advantage of the support designed to maintain operational continuity and navigate current market challenges.
Addressing common inquiries from local entrepreneurs, Mr Al Bayat clarified that individual establishments in eligible sectors only need to submit financial statements for the past two years, adding that audited reports are not mandatory if unavailable. Applicants must also provide a 12-month bank statement to complete their submission.
He reiterated that the programme remains open to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across designated economic sectors, reaffirming Tamkeen’s commitment to strengthening private sector resilience, driving economic growth, and securing employment opportunities for national talent.
Support under the programme’s Operational Expenses Support Track (Track 2) and Financing Profit Support Track (Track 3) covers key economic sectors, including manufacturing, transportation and storage, tourism, accommodation and food services, wholesale and retail trade, and motor vehicle repair. Professional, scientific, and technical services, administrative and support services, entertainment and recreation centres, as well as kindergartens and nurseries are also eligible.
