More than 500 high-profile leaders from the tourism, travel and hospitality sectors will put the global spotlight firmly on the kingdom as it hosts the 32nd Annual World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) today.
The prestigious event is coming to the kingdom for the first time.
The main highlight of the event will be a ceremony where 118 winners will be honoured as the industry’s finest.
Recognised by the WTA as the world’s Leading New Exhibition and Convention Centre in 2023 and the Middle East’s Leading Large-Scale Wedding Venue in 2024, EWB continues to cement its reputation as one of the world’s most competitive and versatile event venues.
Welcoming the WTA Grand Final 2025 at EWB underscores its rising status on the global stage and highlights Bahrain’s rapidly growing influence in international tourism.
“We are looking forward to hosting the ceremony for the very first time in Bahrain,” Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and EWB chairperson Sara Buhiji said.
“This reflects international trust in the kingdom’s tourism sector and the world-class capabilities of EWB.
“Welcoming the industry’s most influential leaders and innovators to our kingdom is an opportunity to showcase Bahrain’s exceptional hospitality, advanced infrastructure and strategic vision for the future.”
Since its establishment in 1993, the World Travel Awards have been recognised as the ultimate hallmark of excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
Its gala ceremonies are considered milestone events in the global travel calendar, attended by government leaders, CEOs, key decision-makers, influencers and international media.
