ONE App, powered by Al Salam Bank, has announced a strategic partnership with Solidarity Bahrain, one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, to introduce a new Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) service for car insurance.
Clients can now issue or renew their insurance policies through Solidarity’s branches or digital platform using ONE App’s BNPL feature.
The collaboration offers clients a new, convenient payment method that allows them to split insurance costs into monthly instalments without the need to submit additional documents.
With instant approval and direct disbursement to Solidarity, the service aims to enhance the overall insurance experience and provide clients with greater financial flexibility.
ONE App general manager Haitham Al Haddad said: “We are proud to expand our digital services in collaboration with Solidarity, making it easier for clients to obtain insurance with more flexible payment options.
“The BNPL feature enables clients to spread the cost of their insurance over 12 months with no additional fees or salary transfer requirements.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to offering innovative solutions that help clients stay on budget, manage their expenses, and plan ahead with confidence.”
The partnership underscores ONE App’s strategy to empower individuals by providing an all-in-one financial platform that is intuitive, efficient and tailored to the diverse financial needs of clients, a joint statement said.
“Through this partnership, we aim to deliver a more accessible and seamless insurance experience for our clients,” added Solidarity Bahrain head of marketing and digital channels Jalal Aqelah.
“The BNPL service is a valuable addition to our offerings, helping us meet the evolving needs of individuals and align with the digital transformation of the insurance sector in Bahrain.
“At Solidarity, we are committed to simplifying processes and offering flexible solutions, and this collaboration with ONE App is a major step in that direction.”
