FOOTBALL – Jonathan Ikone returned to haunt his former club as Paris FC claimed an historic 1-0 win over neighbours Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 32 of the Coupe de France.
Ikone, a former PSG youth-team product, scored the only goal of the game in the 74th minute to give the underdogs a first-ever win over their illustrious opponents.
The hosts repeatedly threatened the Paris FC goal but their best chance fell to Warren Zaïre-Emery, who fired against the bar in the 87th minute as the defending champions bowed out.
