His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has emphasised the importance of advancing the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UAE to serve mutual aspirations.
HRH Prince Salman also highlighted the depth of Bahrain-UAE relations, underpinned by historic co-operation and supported by His Majesty King Hamad and UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as he met the UAE leader yesterday, at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting took place as part of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit to the UAE. He conveyed the greetings of the King to Shaikh Mohammed, along with His Majesty’s wishes of continued growth and prosperity for the UAE and its people.
Shaikh Mohammed conveyed his greetings to the King, as well as his best wishes for Bahrain and its people for continued growth and prosperity.
HRH Prince Salman and the UAE President exchanged greetings on the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, and wished peace upon Arab and Islamic nations.
During the meeting, avenues to further strengthen co-operation between the two countries and issues of common interest were discussed.
HRH Prince Salman was accompanied by a delegation which included Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa; Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki; Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna Al Romaihi; Information Minister Dr Ramzan Al Nuaimi; Social Development Minister Osama Al Alawi; Crown Prince’s Court president Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa; and senior government officials.
