Al Salam Bank has launched its timely ‘Salam Al Khair’ initiative that enables its clients to easily contribute to a number of registered charities.
Account holders can choose the donation method that best suits them through key channels, such as saving towards a charitable goal via the ‘Goals’ service and subsequently donating the accumulated amount to selected beneficiaries, or redeeming loyalty reward points and donating them directly to approved charitable societies through the Al Salam Bank app.
“The holy month of Ramadan embodies the values of generosity and compassion, which form an integral part of our institutional principles,” said the bank’s chief retail banking officer Mohammed Buhiji. “Through the ‘Salam Al Khair’ initiative, we seek to simplify the donation process for our clients and make it part of their daily practices through innovative and secure digital solutions.
“We believe that every contribution, regardless of its size, can make a real difference in the lives of others.”
