Message from Bangladesh Ambassador Mohammed Rais Hasan Sarower.
On the auspicious occasion of the Great Independence and National Day of Bangladesh, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all Bangladeshi expatriates living in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to our esteemed Bahraini brothers and sisters.
We pay our deepest homage to the finest sons of the soil – our valiant freedom fighters – as well as to the mothers and sisters whose immense sacrifices and contributions made our independence possible. Their legacy continues to inspire us to uphold the values of justice, dignity, and patriotism.
On this solemn day, we also express our sincere solidarity with the people of Bahrain during this challenging time and pray for the country’s continued peace, stability, progress, and security.
A new chapter has commenced with the formation of a new government on February 17, 2026, under the leadership of the Honourable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
We are confident that the relations between the two countries will reach new heights in the days ahead for shared benefits of the two nations.
I deeply appreciate the friendship and support extended by Bahrain to Bangladesh and its expatriate community.
I commend the Bangladeshi community for their dedication and contributions to the development of both nations.
Let us reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of our Great Independence and work together for a brighter future.
