The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security arrested a 29-year-old Asian man for misusing social media by filming police officers in detail while they were carrying out their duties at a security point and posting the video on his social media account, which constitutes a legal offence.
The directorate confirmed that the required legal procedures had been taken against him in preparation for referring the case to the Public Prosecution. It called on everyone to comply with laws and regulations and to act responsibly when using social media
