Several universities across the UAE have started a gradual return to on-campus classes after the recent Iran conflict forced a shift to remote learning.
Under the current instructions from the education ministry, only students whose courses require an in-person presence are being allowed to return. This primarily includes those studying medicine, engineering, and applied sciences, who require access to laboratories and heavy equipment.
However, many institutions, including American universities in the UAE, currently remain under remote learning protocols. All other academic programmes are expected to continue online until at least 3 April.
