Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani held a telephone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the call, both sides reviewed the longstanding relations of co-operation between the two countries, and means to further enhance them across various domains.
The call also addressed avenues of political and diplomatic co-ordination and consultation between the two countries in international forums, particularly within the framework of their current membership as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
The Foreign Minister also received a telephone call from Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Dr Badr Abdelatty.
During the call, both sides reviewed bilateral co-operation between Bahrain and Egypt, and discussed opportunities to further develop them across various domains in a manner that reflects longstanding relations and serves the shared interests of the two countries.
They also discussed regional developments in light of the continued blatant Iranian attacks involving missiles and drones targeting Bahrain and the GCC states, which have resulted in loss of life and damage to property, and which pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the region.
