His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has affirmed that all citizens affected by the Iranian aggression will receive full compensation for their losses.
He emphasised that the unjustified Iranian aggression against Bahrain and the countries of the region targeted civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure, resulting in civilian casualties and property damage.
The royal pledge came as His Majesty received several officers and personnel from the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), in the presence of Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
He praised the advanced level of preparedness and combat readiness demonstrated by BDF personnel, as well as their high efficiency in carrying out their duties.
The King underscored the importance of adhering to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817, which condemned the unjustified Iranian aggression and demanded that Iran immediately cease these attacks and any other hostile acts.
He expressed appreciation for the sincere national sentiment shown by citizens, which reflects the awareness of the community and its sound and balanced approach. He commended the readiness to volunteer and contribute to the recovery and reconstruction efforts, embodying a strong sense of national responsibility and belonging.
“National duty requires all to maintain readiness and preparedness to safeguard the kingdom’s security, safety and stability under the current circumstances,” His Majesty said, affirming that the kingdom will remain a secure and stable nation, continuing its course of development and progress through the unity, cohesion and dedication of its people.
