Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh have congratulated Nabeel Khaled Kanoo on his election as Bahrain Chamber board of directors chairman, as well as the formation of the Chamber’s executive committee.
They wished the Chamber continued success in enhancing institutional efficiency, serving the private sector, meeting the aspirations of the business community, and supporting the kingdom’s economic growth and provide further high-quality job opportunities for citizens.
Mr Al Musallam affirmed the legislative branch’s keenness to enhance co-operation with the Chamber.
He praised the private sector’s role in supporting the national economy and achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Mr Al Saleh highlighted the notable achievements and successes throughout the Chamber’s 85-year history.
Mr Al Saleh affirmed that the confidence placed in Mr Kanoo reflects the high regard in which he is held by the kingdom’s business community. He praised Mr Kanoo’s vast economic expertise and his role in advancing national development and private sector competitiveness.
The Chairman expressed the Council’s keenness to continue co-operation with the Chamber.
He highlighted that this partnership contributes to supporting the framework of economic and financial legislation, solidifying the partnership between the Council and the commercial sector, and enhancing the paths of development witnessed by the kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty.
