A number of individuals have been accused of having ties with Iranian intelligence agencies and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Public Prosecution stated.
Though the exact number was not specified, the National Security Agency had reported the individuals ‘loyal to terrorist groups and hostile organisations’ to the prosecution for legal measures to commence.
The accused allegedly collected information about ‘vital locations’ in the country and took photographs of sites damaged by Iranian attacks. The suspects were arrested and investigations continue.
