Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma received Japanese Ambassador Okai Asako. Dr Juma highlighted the strong co-operation between Bahrain and Japan across various domains, particularly in education and higher education.
The two sides discussed co-operation in scholarships and academic programmes, as well as enhancing opportunities for Bahraini students to enroll in leading higher education institutions in Japan.
Both sides discussed enhancing student activities and school visits in partnership with relevant Japanese entities, to increase students’ knowledge and exposure to Japan’s experiences in industry and technology.
