His Majesty King Hamad received a letter from Secretary-General of the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq Professor Dr Mohammed Obaid Al Kubaisi.
Prof Dr Al Kubaisi expressed solidarity, on behalf of the association, with the leadership, government, and people of Bahrain regarding the blatant Iranian attacks, and the resulting damages affecting the kingdom’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
The letter expressed strong condemnation of all forms of aggression that violate international laws and norms, emphasising that targeting states or interfering in their internal affairs represents unacceptable behaviour that undermines the foundations of regional and international peace.
Prof Dr Al Kubaisi affirmed full support for Bahrain’s right to protect its sovereignty and security under the principles of international law.
He reaffirmed the importance of unity and enhanced co-operation to address current challenges and safeguard regional security and stability.
He also expressed his best wishes for the continued safety and security of the kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
